NRA Pistol Instructor Training
The NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course consists of two parts:
Part 1: BIT (6 hours)
Part 2: NRA Pistol Instructor Training (9.5 hours)
Prior to taking this course, each candidate will receive and do:
- Request an email of the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Blended ILT Lesson Plan to each candidate with instructions to print/ download and bring to class, with their NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook.
- Ensure candidates complete pre-course questionnaire
- Ensure candidates complete the entirety of Instructor Led Training (ILT) for Basics of Pistol Shooting of the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.
score of 90% or higher
NRA pre-course qualification will have a minimum passing score of 80 out of a possible 100 points
