Strategies for your BEST Training

1/31/2020

Interesting enough there are many people with different thoughts about training. What is it, what it entails and how often do I really need to train. Since this keeps coming up I thought I would share some thoughts with you on this subject.  Here's how I think of it, you need to spend time in the field of interest wether sports or self protection in order to get any good. This is the one way you will know your true abilities weather for sport, fun or self defense. Training entails, focus, time, commitment, and a purpose when you head to the range. For example, what 1 thing am I going to work on today? It's also best to have a partner or someone to hold you accountable in your training because we all know its really hard to train yourself. Thats another reason to seek out quality Instructor in the area of interest to help you attend your true level.  When you start your training you need to be able to communicate your goals, clarify your questions, commit to your training and finally complete your training to get where you want to be in skills.  Final note this isn't a 1 day class, 1 private lesson, this is continuing  monthly commitment to truly improve your skills.

Thinking of Training with New Firearm ?

People that are looking for training go about this in many different ways. I would like to suggest a way that  I think will get you with the best Instructor /trainer.

First - you decide what type of training you are looking to have, whether it's "I got a brand new gun", Basic,         Defensive, Texas License to carry or Instructor Training.

Second - are you wanting training that starts out as personal- private lesson or in a group or classroom setting.

Third - are you looking for during the week or weekends or flexible times?

Fourth - once you have these few thoughts laid out I would start calling different Instructors or ranges to see what they offer.

This way you can get a feel for the person that will train you. Are they helpful?  Answering your questions? Listening to your concerns and time preferences? Do they rent equipment for you to try? Over all do you think they will give you the training you are searching for?

I hope this helps guide you in the direction to find the Best Instructor/ Trainer for you. Please check us out  for all the different ways we can help you become Successful in your Training.
